Leaders of Learning at Webheath

At Webheath Academy Primary we are proud of our children and their acheivements.  We value their opinion and wish to foster our future leaders.  We have been focusing on leadership at all levels and this definitely includes the children.  Back in 2018, we  identified four pupil leaders who had the opportunity to work with established leaders from St Barnabas First and Middle School and a lead expert from School of Tomorrow.  They worked on what it was to be a learner at Webheath.  For 2019, they handed the baton onto our new Leaders of Learning who had worked on what learning was like at Webheath and the strengths they found.  This work has continued to go from strength to strength, despite the interuptions of COVID 19.  Last year our Leaders evaluated the school positive reward system as highlighted concerns that came from a whole school audit.  This led them focusing on bullying and anti-bullying.  They pulled together a video uploaded below and is all their own work.  We were very proud of them and the work they completed to ensure the launch of our anti-bullying policy inline with anti-bullying week in November 2021 was a huge success and addressed some of the issues they felt were needed for our pupils.

Our new Leaders of Learning have been appointed and we will add their photos to this site with their project very soon.
